I remember. back in the day, my dentist would script me Dem0r0l (100mg)
or 750mg Vics ...

NOW they are telling me that 5mg Vics will turn me into an addict?!?
Really now , do the simple math. one 750mg is the same strength as 125 5mg's
so the whole 60 piece bottle of them doesn't even equal one of the others ...

Again I say, different folks have different reactions to the same things...
What works for patient A , doesn't even phase patient B ...

They call it "practicing medicine" for a good reason,
but they need to stop painting everybody with the same broad brush...

Ice

What do you mean by 750 vics. Surely they never made a single pill to contain 750. That’d be a quick way to die! Smile
Although I see what you mean. In highschool my buddy was scripted 5mg 3x day = 90/month. This kid was 16. Needless to say this is when I discovered them!

The big number is the NSAID milligramage, the little number is the opie content. 5/750 means 5 mg hyco, 750 mg acetaminophen. 750 mg hydro pills would have been very popular. They did have blue oxy 160s back in the day, imagine that….32 5 mg percocets in one pill!

Anything with a cet on the end is Opi + Acetaminophen, Apap, commonly known as Tylenol...

Sorry, mophus, it was early and I was being dense. I do understand that. I didn’t realize that they were developing or had developed time release. Ice, thats both interesting and terrifying. Can’t say I wouldn’t mind trying a few for my back and neck issues. I had heard a few years ago of them developing a higher mg “compound only” capsule. Literally just a capsule full of pure powder. Lots of people were indicating how bad of an idea it was with high abuse potential. Can’t say I would disagree, but I bet it works better for some people!

I am happy I found this. I was only able to get a short term Rx
From my Gp for 5mg. Been looking everywhere but
No luck. Tried S0ma a few times and didn’t really do the trick unfortunately.
Chronic back pain for years Sad

does anyone else find cyclobenzaprine to leave them very edgey or agitated? It does that to me. Its one of the only meds that does this to me. Soma and even the non narcotic ones or ones you get 0 buzz from dont to that to me at all. I like Methocarbomal I think its called if you dont want to be groggy and drowsy during your day.

Thank you all for your responses.
I was able to get another refill
From my GP. I think this is enough
As they make me EXTREMELY
sleepy, regardless of the pain relief !

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!
