Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - mophus - 02-12-2023 Anybody know a source for this? RE: Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - TheBigGreenBastard - 02-14-2023 No, but this should be a pretty easy script to get from a doc. At least in my area. We’ll keep an eye out! RE: Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - mophus - 02-14-2023 The same sites that used to sell soma and tram back in the day had it, but those are long gone now. I was thinking one of those indian pharms but dont know a good one. RE: Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - Charon - 02-14-2023 I have read that at least in NY, people are unable to get normal scripts cuz of crackdowns and general insanity after so much covid rocked our world. Good luck. soma was a wonderful med. RE: Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - mophus - 02-14-2023 I have taken lots of soma, back when one could order it from US pharms. I did not use it safely or responsibly, I abused it, in fact. Id take maybe 4, 5 at a time a couple times a day. What got me in to trouble was how unpredictable the effects were, the euphoria was great at first but was fleeting and the fast acting, short lived nature invited one to chase it, resulting in handfuls of pills washed down with a few Ipas. Tolerance was built quickly but depending on fat content recently eaten, sometimes effects would be 2 or threefold what was anticipated, this was very dangerous because sometimes a drugged stupor would result that would alarm anybody in my proximity. This substance introduced me to the horrors of sedative WDs, felt like a few days of going insane, with terrible insomnia. Benzos helped a little, but not much. Anyhow I stay away from soma now, but my lovely lady says the flex helps her back pain so Im trying to get some for her. Doctor visits are such a pain, who has time for any of that? Then they might not even provide the medicine you know works. RE: Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - TheBigGreenBastard - 02-15-2023 I don’t understand why docs freak out so much about this. It has really low abuse potential and its probably the most helpful med (to me) when I get a pulled muscle in my neck or back. I believe Doctors are afraid of a law suit,,, pocket money is supreme here!!! RE: Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - IceWizard - 02-16-2023 That "flex" drug always made me feel like dirt after a couple of doses ... It affects different folks in different ways... I remember. back in the day, my dentist would script me Dem0r0l (100mg) or 750mg Vics ... NOW they are telling me that 5mg Vics will turn me into an addict?!? Really now , do the simple math. one 750mg is the same strength as 125 5mg's so the whole 60 piece bottle of them doesn't even equal one of the others ... Again I say, different folks have different reactions to the same things... What works for patient A , doesn't even phase patient B ... They call it "practicing medicine" for a good reason, but they need to stop painting everybody with the same broad brush... Ice RE: Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - mophus - 02-16-2023 And yet they will prescribe all the anti-ds, with their multitude of heinous side effects, as one desires. I guess this is why most of us are here. Doctors afraid to prescribe what we know works. RE: Cyclobenzaprine/Flexeril - Charon - 02-16-2023 My sister with whom i have no contact anymore, is a licensed medical doctor. She would tell me they were trained in medical school that all of us are drug seekers. Evil and bad. She and her friends got a ton of stuff from varied hospitals for themselves. I believe she is rather mad now. Her now deceased psych called me to tell me she was a serious addict whom would run to his office at two am as in long days journey into night. I could not stop her. She put her kids on 24 meds a day. Anything to avoid parenting for her. But yeah, psych drugs one could easily obtain. unfortunate as they interfere with the ability to think clearly. We were all fine seeing regular doctors whom saw our illnesses and could treat them appropriately many years ago. It is now a mess. |
