Hello Tech Guru,
I hopen that you can help me with something. I usually view this board on my iPad and the auto correct is really bad. It changes my words so that my sentences do not make sense. It often misspells words.
Another an issue I am having, and it may be due to using an iPad, is that I type fast and the system can't seem to keep up. It is so slow! It will also back up and erase sentences that I have written and then I spend a lot of time tying to get it to freeze/stop and re-type what I originally wrote, which is really annoying. I think I can turn off the auto correct, but what about the other issues? Have you ever heard from anyone else having these issues?
Thank you!
M.

iPad, Eh. M.
Well those indications usually indicate that too much is running on the device or one program is using up all the resources so it all slows down.
You I am sure have tried closing everything and seeing how it does then?
And turning it off and only having a few or the one program you need to access site.?
Also your iPad could be full and so it bumps-into itself trying to run.
In which case deleting something would help.
Let me post this article for you to use for thoughts.
I have had the same thing happen and it is usually too many programs open at once or one in particular being a memory hog and draining it all down, so try closing all but the browser.
hope this gives some clue.

Sure.
And just so you know, I did realize that the link I posted was for a MAC not mobile device exactly like your talking however,
the article gives a lot of tips related.
Strictly the iPad , hem...let me also say updates might be needed .
I just recently over the week end installed updates to iPad .
Gosh it was like 1 1/2 Gigbyte. Took a while to DL and install.
But it went ok.
Imagine that , LOL.

Hi Linville,
Yes, I have not downloaded the update yet. That could be an in issue. I've also removed some of the programs/apps that I don't use, although very few of them were actually running.
When I get home tonight I'll do the download, but I also want to compare posting to a thread on my PC verses my Mac Pro. I know with some of the legal programs/technology that I need to use, they just aren't Mac friendly.
Thanks again. I really appreciate your help.
Hope your day is off to a good start.
Thanks,
M.

I would just backup to cloud and do a full reset, then get rid of any apps you do not need. But that's what I would do myself, hope this helps!

Hey Linville,
So, theiPad is still acting up. Because of all the typos I decided to first type a reply in Word and then cut and snd paste to a thread. In Word, I had the exact same issues. i did the upgrade, removed programs not in use, sent items to the cloud, followed all suggestions from you and horsies, etc.. I recently heard about an Apple Backdoor that hackers had been able to get into and now Apple products are susceptible to a virus attack. Have you heard anything about this?
Thanks!

Hi Linville,
Just spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple (iPad keyboard and Mac issues). I think we got the problem fixed. It was some sort of glitch with the keyboard settings, so hopefully no more typos, auto (in)correct changes or other weird things happening.
Gotta run. Due in court this mornng in 20 minutes. Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it!
Have a great weekend!
