Matthew 26 : 23-32
KJV


23 And he answered and said,
He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish,
the same shall betray me.
24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him:
but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed!
it had been good for that man if he had not been born.
25 Then Judas, which betrayed him,
answered and said, Master, is it I?
He said unto him, Thou hast said.
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread,
and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples,
and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks,
and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28 For this is my blood of the new testament,
which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say unto you,
I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine,
until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
30 And when they had sung an hymn,
they went out into the mount of Olives.
31 Then saith Jesus unto them,
All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written,
I will smite the shepherd,
and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.
32 But after I am risen again,
I will go before you into Galilee.



Today's Prayer...


Lord our God,

Grant that we may find the power
of Your Spirit so that we may live on a higher level,
no longer controlled by our lower natures but
strengthened to take up the battle of life.
May we be children of the Spirit and may we
walk in the Spirit.
Guard us against carelessness and keep us joyful
and courageous. Help us and counsel us on all our
ways so that we may honor You and testify that
You are our God, our true help."

and of course i cried...but i did not marry nor move away for good until i had cared for me father and then me mother for another ten yrs. 3 sisters did not help.

I long to be re united with my parents and a son and loved ones...

verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.

the disciples came unto him privately, saying,
Tell us, when shall these things be?
and what shall be the sign of thy coming,
and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ;
and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:
see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass,
but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation,
and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines, and pestilences,
and earthquakes, in divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted,
and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended,
and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise,
and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound,
the love of many shall wax cold.

Lord have mercy that is happening now. We welcome your return My Lord and Savior.

Lord, we know your timing is perfect, and that you are not slack concerning Your promise, as some count slackness, but are long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Lord, please give us the strength to withstand these times as we wait with longing for Your Blessed return. We are so weary.

Some 15-20 years ago, Mom and Pop got to travel to the Holy Land...
He went to the Mount of Olives and preached a sermon ...

They brought me back a Nativity Scene carved out of olive wood...
Mom threw most of his clothes out to make room for the gifts
they were bringing back.....
