John 20:29-31


29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me,
thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence
of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ,
the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.



Today's Prayer...


Thank you, great God and Father,,

For filling our hearts with trust so that we are of good hope, also for those
who have not yet found trust. Thank you for giving us courage to face all
the questions that arise in human life and for accepting us again and again
when we come to you. You know what lies before us. You know the mountains
that have to be moved. You know all the things that frustrate us and try to
wear us out, and you will take them away. At last your light will shine into
all the darkness. This certainty fills us with gladness and thanksgiving.
In this faith we are determined to remain steadfast and to press on to victory.

Isaiah 33:20 - 22


20 Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities:
thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation,
a tabernacle that shall not be taken down;
not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed,
neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.
21 But there the glorious Lord will be unto us
a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall
go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.
22 For the Lord is our judge,
the Lord is our lawgiver,
the Lord is our king;
he will save us.

Dear God and our Father,,

If only we have you, we desire nothing more in heaven or on earth.
Body and soul may fail, but you, O God, are the strength and comfort
of our hearts and you are ours forever. May we live in your Spirit and
may your light shine over us. Touch our hearts and help us understand
the greatness of what you call us to. Help us and free us again and
again so that we are not bound by fear, even when we must pass
through intense suffering. For your hand shall be with us and shall
rescue us. Your hand shall bring about good for us and for all the
people around us. Our hearts go out to them and we plead for them too,
"Lord, send your Savior to all."

I often wondered why is it that conservatives are considered the "right"
and the liberals were considered the "left"

Then I read this:::

Ecclesiastes 10:2
King James Version
2 A wise man's heart is at his right hand;
but a fool's heart at his left.

I don't know ...
So what does this actually mean ??

Ecclesiastes 10:2 (GW) A wise person's heart leads the right way. The heart of a fool leads the wrong way.

Elsewise, I got nothing. I do admit I did not ever spend hours seeking knowledge i don't need. once i 'met" Jesus, i learned his ways, his spirit. I do have to start reading daily again. Maybe I shall understand.

Dear God and our Father,,

Let our thoughts be filled with all that is honorable, just, pure,
gracious, good, and praiseworthy. We want to await your Spirit,
not giving way to anxiety, but showing ourselves worthy to be
your children. We want to be your children, who can rise above
even the most difficult conditions and maintain a quiet trust, to
the glory of your Spirit within us. Protect us now and always in
your divine peace.
