As long as your honest with your new doctor your old one should not even be a factor. They can both equally pull the same pharmacy report on you and see what ever meds you are prescribed. As far as the VA script. I am not sure that they include that in the report. They may but I have no experience with their system. Sometimes you can be prescribed during short periods of time from multi providers. IE: specialist ect... just be sure to tell your new doctor all the meds your taking . You don't want to give them any reason not to trust you. Super important you maintain trust since as soon as your doctor finds your lying it will be construed as many different things. They can use the dreaded term malingering, or tell you that your doctor shopping. I don't see that in your situation but it's always something to keep in mind. Best of luck with your new physician.
