I lived in many a state in the US. it was a rebel rebel thing. but, i was raised to never take lunch breaks. nor, to take vacations. at 62 me father felt he had lived a full enuff life that he was willing to take an airplane to ireland. he loved it.
but, my son, and his friends, they travel alone, or in pairs, or in a group of about eight. they go all over the world. i get to hear great stories.
they are the ones with the means in this economy. and, i am a firm believer in having one's fun when young.
So, kudos to those whom can travel. I know it means so much to my son.
