i am not big on killing things.  but, when i used a food bank a couple years ago, they only provided foods surrounded with fruit flies.

i could not have that.

so, i made the ten fingers of death.  took the inner cardboard from ten toilet paper rolls.  put duct tape on them, albeit backwards, so the sticky side was on the outside.

i just stood in the little group of fire flies for a few minutes and the ten fingers of death got covered in minutes.  i tossed it in outside garbage.

i looked up ehow and gnats.  usually it is a plant.  but i saw one entry about avoiding gnat bites.  they bite?

if u get desperate, u can kill a gnat or such with a spray gun of water and small part bleach.

if its fruit flies, may i suggest the ten fingers of death?
