[Dancing Wolf]

Horribly vivid nightmares past few nights.
Threaten to swallow me.  Feel I am sinking.
Oh, how seductive the depths can be.

Late last night
As the banshee wailed
And my pooka called,
The Uninvited appeared

The Darkness, lingering at my doorstep
With unblinking ruby eyes on me
Barely visible in swirling black mists
Beckoning, welcoming...  with skeletal hand

Calling on Spirit and angels for aid
I rebuked Darkness that night,
Bound His siren spell,
Returned Him to the Void

But I know...
Impatiently waiting,
He will reappear too soon
Ignoring my refusal next time.
