So this is the random thoughts and venting area?  ... I would like to vent.

I am sorry if anyone finds it disturbing, but I found a friend who had OD'd sometime yesterday, last night I guess technically speaking (or was it this morning since it was after 12am?) and it was soo hard.

He never said a word.  Just did it.  I have a key to his flat and hadn't heard from him (he always rings or texts, but wasn't answering his phone, and neighbors couldn't get him to answer the door).  He lost his long time companion of 20 years recently and that's it, this was his answer, I suppose.


So this picture is for him.  He was light and fire, loved life and always made me laugh.

I should have gone to his flat sooner, maybe I could have called the paramedics, if I was even 20 minutes sooner.  I don't know. I just don't know.

Vent vent vent... I don't feel any better.  I apologise if this brings anyone down.

Maybe tea will help... Irish humour there.   Tea cures everything.
