I’ve used the online version of MG without issue.
They will interrogate you on the phone when you do your first transaction. I believe it’s just an Identity verification as they asked questions similar to results of any online background check. It took 20 minutes and since then, smooth sailing.
I use them often for my business in procuring handloomed fabrics. Many of my fabric sellers are family run and not even incorporated businesses in India and China. They prefer MG as they like the USD and most don’t have bank accounts. One of my silk loomers said that certain shops are handing out actual green USD$ and they believe it has more value.
