MMJ and the workplace - Bighead - 03-10-2016 i haven't seen this discussed, but if your employer is a drug-free work place and does drug testing you can be fired for having THC in your system even if you have a medical card.  It is still a Schedule 1 drug federally and federal law trumps state law.  Recently ran across this And it is being fought in the courts.  I will look for the article and link if I find it. They will get the message eventually I brought this up because of the article I read and I also can qualify for a card according to my state's listed medical conditions.  And surprisingly, the small town I live in, population less than 1500, received one of the states licenses' as a dispensary.  They are almost done with construction of the building and are running ads for employees. |
