RE: Photographs Thread - Linville - 08-03-2015 ![]() ![]() Rainbow Eucalyptus trees on Maui, Hawaii The phenomenon is caused by patches of bark peeling off at various times and the colors are indicators of age. A newly shed outer bark reveals bright greens which darken over time into blues and purples and then orange and red tones.â€Â RE: Photographs Thread - Popster - 08-03-2015 Linville, I can't believe I have lived a full life and have not seen one of these trees........one of my best friends lives on Maui....on my next visit I am going to hunt for one of these trees until I find one......I must see one. Thanks for posting the rainbow eucalyptus tree. The  puppy is so cute ![]() RE: Photographs Thread - Linville - 08-03-2015 Popster, Take the road to Hani and you will see one of those unbelievable trees. =========== Isn't this a great photo?  I love how the GS is letting the little girl give it some love. Isn't that a handsome looking dog. I figure it would protect that little girl with it's life.
RE: Photographs Thread - Zander - 08-03-2015 All the photographs here are beautiful. Nice trees guys. That rainbow eucalyptus is something else. 1. Desert Sunset 2. RE: Photographs Thread - Zander - 08-04-2015 Hummingbirds. RE: Photographs Thread - Popster - 08-05-2015 linville.....they didn't start out that way (millionaires), but since building this wonderful home.....totally off the grid with regards to water and electricity....i would think that property makes them millionaires. Â He was a school counselor and she an accountant.....smart folks. Here's another couple of picts I took of the views from their property: That's Hana, way way way off in the distance
